3. Add any additional features to your code if desired.

4. Finish creating the code to save it to your dashboard and download the image file to share.

5. Track how your code is performing in the Analytics tab.

After signing in to your account, navigate to "QR codes" in your left side dashboard.

From there, you will create your first code by clicking the + Create QR Code button on the top right corner.

Here all the available types of QR codes you can create; however, you will most likely be creating a QR code from a website link.

  • πŸ–ŠοΈDynamic codes are trackable and editable after they are created. This means that you can track how your code is performing, like number of clicks, click locations, etc. With dynamic codes, you can also edit the link after the QR code is created and the code will stay the same, eliminating the need to create new QR code should the link change.

  • πŸ”’Static Codes are NOT trackable, nor are they editable. If you need to change the link or any of the specifications after the QR code is created, you will need to create a brand new QR code.

Once you have chosen your QR code type, enter your URL.

From here, you will have the option to add any additional features to your QR code with the Advanced Options dropdown.

The shortened URL can be auto-generated to display the name of your QR code, but you are able to manually type in your desired QR code URL if you would like.

In this dropdown, you can select a domain for your code as well as schedule the specific date you would like your code to go live.

If the information within your link is sensitive, you also have the option to set a password to access the information in the link. Note that this feature is only available for dynamic QR codes.

Once you have customized the specifications for your code, it is time to design your QR code! You can choose from any existing company templates, create your own custom code by uploading a company logo image file, or choose from one of Unicode's many premade templates.

After designing your code, it is now ready to be downloaded and shared! You will be taken to the "Finish" page of the QR code creation process. From here, name your QR code so that it is easily identifiable, and click the Download QR Code Button to download the image file. You are able to download your code in PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, or EPS formats. Select the Finish button when you are complete to save your code to your account.

Congratulations! You have now created your first QR code with Uniqode. What now? Share your QR code, go back and edit your code if needed, and track how your code is performing!

To edit your QR code after it has been created, head to your QR code dashboard. Find your QR code and click the Edit button on the right-hand side.

From here, you can edit the link and any of the additional features and specifications of your code, by following the steps 3-5.

Once your QR code has been created, you can track how it is performing by clicking the Analytics tab in the left-side dashboard

Once you find yourself find yourself in the Analytics tab, you are able to track:

  1. Scans: the number of times your QR code has been scanned both totally and per specified time period. This will help you see which days the QR code is receiving the most engagement.
  2. Users: the number of individual people scanning your code, both totally and per specified time period. Since codes can be scanned multiple times by the same person, this helps track the number of unique scans.
  3. Top Performing QR Codes: If you have created multiple codes, this will help you determine which codes are receiving the most scans.
  4. Top performing Campaign Types: If you have multiple different types of QR codes (i.e. Website, Form, Social Media), this will help you see which type of QR code is receiving the most engagement.
  5. Scans by Device Used: what devices users are scanning your code on.
  6. Scans by Time of Day: when during the day your code is being scanned by users.
  7. Scans by City: where users are scanning your code from.
  8. Scans by Location: where users are located, clustered on a visual map.

You can also track any of these statistics per time period, such as the last 7 days, the last 3 months, etc. To do so, click the dropdown button next to the Export button and select your desired time frame.
