The purpose of this guide is to show an Engineer how to submit a Firewall Change Request via ServiceNow.

Prerequisites

1. FOX Okta Account, must be a member of the "SNow Internal Users" Okta group

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Login to your myfox.okta account and select the "MyFox ServiceNow Portal" chiclet.

   

    
2. You will be redirected to the ServiceNow Portal, then select "Request Something."

   

    
3. You will be redirected to a catalog, select "Firewall Change Request."

   

    
4. Inside the firewall change request, you will need to fill out all required fields. 

   

    
5. Click "Add" underneath "Firewall Policy Details." Input all necessary Source, Destination, and Port information. 

   

    
6. Once added, select the planned start date and end date (typically 5 years), then fill in the remaining fields.
