Arch - Audio For Users

Arch is an online console, allowing you to log into Virtual Audio computers. You will use Arch to turn your computer on and will use Parsec to log into that computer.

In Chrome Browser, sign into myfox.okta.com.

When you start your day with Parsec, you need to hit the top orange banner Authorize (bringing you back to Chrome Browser tab to hit Authorize).

Now Parsec is open, but you will not see your Virtual Audio computer until you turn it on in the next step.

In your Chrome Browser, you will see the Arch Platform Okta Bookmark.

Click on that to launch the Arch Console: https://app.archpt.io/

Sign in with your Fox email and Okta Password:

Once logged in, you'll see your Virtual Audio computers:

In this example, Shaun is already signed in and using BKBN-AUD01.

Please select the next available one. Red means the computer is off, available and is ready to Start.

Here I've selected BKBN-AUD03:

It says "BKBN-AUD03 Stopped" because the computer is Off

Turn it On by pressing the Connect button (or On button + Connect).

Two things happen here: you are turning the computer On and Connecting with Parsec.

Hit the Parsec Overlay / Dropdown and select "Send Control Alt Delete".

Sign in using your Fox email (or Shortname) and password.

If you are signing into a new computer, launch Elements and type "elements.fox" into the server area. Then log in with your Okta credentials.

It will remember these settings on that computer once you have signed in.

New computers will need you to redo this step.

Open Frame.io and sign in through web browser as it prompts you to.

If prompted in Chrome Web Browser, select "Always allow to open in Frame.io":

Please note that once signed in, Frame.io will just look like it's spinning. You must click your User name drop down and select Fox Entertainment at this point:

Then you'll see your folder structure:

It will remember these settings on that computer once you have signed in.

New computers will need you to redo this step.

Because these are Virtual computers in the cloud, we pay by the minute.

When you are done for the day please sign out properly to ensure the computer turns off and doesn't incur charges unnecessarily.

Navigate to the Windows Icon, click your User, and select Sign Out:

Now, disconnect from Parsec:

Lastly, navigate back to the Arch Platform console and shut down your computer:
